The renovation of a housing unit in “ancient” Fiesole is an occasion for dialogue between ancient and contemporary, where the request for a new internal distribution meets a tailored furnishing and lighting project. Thus, the space was constructed around light in the animated and harmonic false ceilings. The choice of lighting was key for the final result of the project. Starting from LED strips in the living room, every room was qualified by a tailored lighting solution. Luxury materials are the basis of a minimalist approach, well supported and balanced by the project as the furniture, accessories and decorative elements play with the natural light in the apartment and confer freshness and sobriety. Finishing is mainly resin along the surfaces of the day and night-time areas in hues varying from white to grey, while in the bathrooms, gres and mosaic mixes were used. The studio worked all-inclusively on all elements of the restructuration, from the urban planning and structural aspects to the interior design project.
