The project is located on a hillside, a natural stage for numerous leisure and sports activities. The plan was to recuperate the area below the Pieve di Santa Maria, so it could be used as an “area for leisure and sport”, with the creation of a green amphitheatre made using reinforced soil. This naturalist engineering uses vegetation to actively protect slopes and reduce the environmental impact of the intervention to a minimum. The supporting slope is planted with native shrubs and plants so that the structure becomes part of the hillside. The area is intended for multiple uses from theatre to religious functions and sport.
